Hey guys trying to finish up my intake manifold swap...the weiand intake calls for 16 ft pounds of tourqe. I am a little nervous about doing so much on an aluminum head. I started to do it and get resistance and the same resistance through out as soon as the head of the bolt gets to the manifold. My fear is stripping it out, how many ft lbs of pressure can the threads take on an aluminum head?

I would try it at factory TQ specs 44 in.lb. 1st pass, and 89 in.lb. final pass.
