Isn't the section width of a 305 tire 305mm no matter what? I wasn't aware different tire companies use different metric systems. I think some tires may appear wider due to the way the sidewall meets the tread, but we aren't talking shoes here.

305 is the measurement of the contact patch of the tire. the side was may be a bit "fatter" out to the sides, and tires look wider

well i know the m/t's are phisicaly bigger than the nittos thats just like shoes some 11's will fit different than other brands.
that being said the m/t's will be a lot stickyer but the nittos will last longer.
why not try the new toyo tq's?
there suposed to be stickyer than the nittos and last longer than the mickeys

The M/T's are wider and stick much better. If the car is a daily then the Nitto's may be a better choice since they last considerably longer than the M/T's. With that said I still choose drive my car around with M/T's because Nitto's don't even compare to the grip that you get with the Mickey's.
