my carpet is looking a bit on the gray side instead of the black i wish it would be. is there a dye or something i could use to darken it? or i would just have to buy new carpet?

do you have to remove the carpet to do this or can you tape everything off? will it leave a bad odor and how well does it dye it? anyone done this?

i would think the easiest way would be to remove it or atleast take the seats out/ panels so you can get everything dyed/painted. I'm thinking about doing this (should have done it when i did my sound deadener).

I would just replace the carpet, I have been doing car interiors for over 8 years, the only thing dye is good for would be for doing molded trims, dash, etc. Carpet is a heavy wear item and rattle can dye isnt going to hold up

oh yeah...i could see that easily. but the part that would wear the most-it will be getting covered with custom floormats

If you buy anything dont waste your on duplicolor or krylon. SEM is the best. I have used them all and it is by far the best thing you can buy locally. I know Advanced auto parts has it.
