Default 4" cai

So...some silicone connectors, a couple bends and some 4" alum and...

gonna get a piece of 304ss to cover the old airbox where the tube goes through...so for now, ABS will do.

Too many turns and bends. Better doing a custom ram air using dryer vent tubing. Proven 2-3 mph gain. I think you'll loose power over just a lid. I'm just going by what I've read online.

only problem is that dryer vent tubing belongs on dryers....i sell that crap at lowes, isle 10.

it doesnt feel any different power wise, but did drop IAT temps 10-15 degrees

looks good. I had a 4" cai, the filter was located where the fuse boxes were. I switched to a lid and now I feel like I had better throttle response with the cone filter vs the lid.

I'll have to say that's probably the coolest looking cai i have seen. Can you tell a difference in it over the lid? Even if you couldn't i would still keep it on

I'm a fan of different and new stuff. An not trying to put you and the 4"CAI down. But with that filter right there if you were driving the car in the rain, wouldn't that air filter get soaked in water? Maybe cause the to lock up or hyrdo lock. I'm not expert by any means but I was just wondering about that with the exposed filter or water getting on it any how.
