Another first on the market.

We now have available new 2010 drag wheels for the 5th Gen Camaro.

Sizes are currently set at 17x5 and 17x10. Yes, they are 17's!!! This will provide the least amount of weight with largest sidewall combination possible for maximum traction.

We should have pictures of the wheels on the new Camaro shortly. Prices are listed at 636.00 for the fronts and 672.00 for the rears.

We also will be finishing up the 2010 line lock system for the guys who need to warm up their tires for a nice sticky launch. This has taken longer than anticipated. For the folks on our waiting list, we will be contacting you as they are available. Details to follow.

These are designed to fit over the Brembo brakes.

wow...those wheels were a major design task...you tell you guys really worked around the brakes.
Just a question...if I dropped to a 26"tire on the back and just bought rears...Id have to just tell my programmer the new tire size on the 2010s...right?

Also...on the line lock...that looks like it's a bolt-on, fully reversible type kit...is that correct?

Yes, that should be all that you need to correct the speedo. You'll want to temporarily disable ABS/TCS as it will not be calibrated correctly. I'd probably go with a larger tire since it should easily fit in the fender well. This way you can take advantage of the additional sidewall to help with traction. This car is going with 295/45 rear tires.

The line lock kit is a bolt on kit. It is fully reversible. Stock lines do not need bent nor changed in any way. The only thing left if you removed the line lock kit would obviously be two little holes in the vertical bracket it is affixed to. Actually, those holes would probably not be noticeable either as you’d move the OEM connector back to the original location covering up the holes.

Do you have access to a V6 2010 Camaro to test fit? I only ask wondering if the V8 guys changed to the smaller V6 brakes, how much more clearance could be gained, escpecially on the rears. You could keep the front Brembos and only change the rears, too, if you wanted.

Thanks for any info. By the way, my Bogarts for my GTO that I bought from you 4.5 years ago are still going strong! Take care. Dave

Glad to hear your wheels have proven the test of time.

So that I'm understanding you clearly, please let me know what you mean regarding more clearance? We can get the wheels to fit without issues with the larger brakes, about the only advantage of the smaller brakes would be slightly lower cost possibly and/or slightly larger dishing on the outer shells.

We don't have access to a V6 at this time to verify differences. I know when I looked at one in person the brakes looked like they would fit wheels much easier...but the larger brakes aren't an issue with our setups.

I wanted to see if by swapping to the smaller rotor and calipers, you could run a 15" or 16" wheel, especially on the rears for more tire options and a larger sidewall if you want to.

My 04 GTO uses 15" Bogarts from you, but the rotors are a bit smaller than the 2010 V6 Camaros. However, this is not taking the caliper or rotor hat into consideration.

Rotor O/D for the 2010 Camaros:

Front: V6 (12.64"), V8 (14")
Rear: V6 (12.4"), V8 (14.4")

As FYI, my 04 GTO has 11.7" / 11.3" front / rear O/D for the rotors. Thanks. Dave

Ok gotcha!

If you measured not just the rotor but the radius i.e. center of rotation to the top of the caliper as well as caliper overhang, we can see what we can come up with regarding a size that will work for you.

We've got a chart you can download as well on our site. www.sjmmanufacturing.com/brake.pdf Letters "E" and "A" are most important.

Someone who actually has one of the V6 cars can...I don't have either, but, am being a bit of a voyeur if I decide to get one.

what is the tallest drag radial u can tuck in the rear on that wheelI'm thinking it would probably be the M/T 295-45-17 (roughly 27.5" - 28" tall).
The M&H 275-50-17s (roughly 28") might fit them as well.

Their line lock kits work GRRR8. I have their G8 line lock kit on my car.
