look into the "El Toro" cam. Predator-z spec'd it out and it has done good in some cars. it's 230/230 612/592 111+2 LSA. I am running one and love the hell out of it. it makes great power and drives very well in the city. i can't give ya any dyno numbers, because my trans was slipping bad during the tune. But our mods seem to be real close, except i have a 4000 converter and i ran a 7.5 @91 1/8th mile.

Thought the El Toro was a 230/228? OR something like that..
IMO something in the 228 range would suit you perfect. I would go for a custom grind cam to match your setup or your future plans. Will get the most potential out of the car along with better driveability and street manners.
You can run fast on "small" cams.

I've got mods very similar to yours witha yank ss3500 and 3.73's. With my 5.3L heads, my torquer III is a good cam but a little on the big side. If you go with it, just make sure you have alot of faith in your tuner, don't get me wrong I love my choice, but on a cold start it's just a little rough. If driveability is your main concern, I like the tr230, it's a reverse split cam that's great for stock heads and has an Amazing sound with a 111 lsa

I'm currently in the process of putting a 232/238 .601/.610 @112+2 in my car with the mods in my sig.
I may end up sending my converter back for a restall...we'll see.
Faith in your tuner is the key I think as well!

Go with a tr224 or 224R. Perfect for the 3600 stall. It will pull anywhere in the powerband. Doesn't matter what speed or what RPM. I ran a tr224 and a 3200 converter for about a year or so. Awesome DD combo.
