Default Bullet Muffler Questions

I was on Summits site looking at the X-pipe kit to make true duals for my car and looked for bullet mufflers. There was a summit brand that had the exact same dimensions as the dynomax brand except the summit had more piping at each end. The casing length and max diameter were the same. Is there any reason to spend double on the dynomax brand over the summit? I know sometimes they can have little louvers rather than perforations that can kill performance in some way, but there are no inside pictures so I thought I would ask the experts.

Summit has louvers. Dynamax is perforated. That's about the only difference. I have installed both. I personally think the summits are just a tad raspier. But it wouldn't be noticeable to someone who hasn't heard them on identical exhausts on identically modded cars sitting right next to each other.
