The racecraft race front end is the lightest thing you can get, the one that has a strut type lower a arm, that is also 1 inch narrower per side.
I did a bunch of asking to alot of manufacturer's for weights, and that was the lightest thing I came up with, the whole thing (k member, a arms upper and lower and shock mounting brakets in the case of the racecraft front end) was about 12 lbs lighter then anyone else's complete package, from what I was able to gather.
Not sure how much of that is the K member, but I know some of it is.

My BMR K-member is 28lbs on a bathroom scale. The lower arms were 10 each. They may not be the lightest, but theyre one of the lightest and they look well built and solid for the street too.

The Racecraft K-member is the lightest that I know of. Here is a link of a build we were doing, that included all of the racecraft products for the Race style front suspension.

There should be specific weights in that thread for everything. If anyone is interested, shoot me a PM or call me at 225-673-3533. I'll get you pricing and availability on everything.

Hello Everyone
This is just another suggest for you! UMI Performance offers two different versions of K Members. We offer a Road Race version and Stock replacement. Although our might not be the lightest. We do offer Chrome molly options for the upper and lower A Arms. Below is a link to show you what UMI Performance has to offer.

If you have any other questions feel free to ask and I will be more than glad to help.
Thanks
Brad

I have the UMI k-member and its a very nice piece, but its not the lightest for sure, I like how it protects the oil pan.. Their CM lower arms are light though.
Lightest K-member I have personally owned is a PA chrome moly.
To put the whole weight thing into perspective my old PA moly k-member, UMI moly lower arms, stock upper arms, stock spindles and 'hat style' aerospace brakes was only 9lbs heavier then an AJE moly k-member, fabricated drop spindles, AJE lower and upper moly arms and stange 3rd gen brakes.

It would be nice if people would actually weigh these parts before putting them on their car, like I started to do. I wrote them down and when people ask for the weights, I can give them accurate info. I even weigh stuff I take off for good, just to make sure I'm saving weight. My aftermarket upper control arms were the same weight as the stock ones, so I sold them to use the money elsewhere.
