Default Binding? Reverse works but binds...

Okay, i just finished installing a new trans pump rotor and all those goodies and I got everything back together (99 ta, 4l60e). Seemed to go together great. Tried running it through the gears and i have forward alright, but slow, and reverse is locked. If i give it gas it'll go, but as soon as i let off it's like i'm slamming the brakes. I have to rev it to almost 2000 to get to it roll. I know it's not the torque converter because I've used that TC for a few hundred miles and while I did need to give it more gas, it was not binding.

Also, I was on my steep driveway and when I put the trans in neutral, it will still not roll backward but will roll forward.

Is this a trans issue or a driveshaft/rearend issue? And how could this have formed in just the time it took to replace the trans parts?

The only thing i did was jack up just the right side of the car to get the driveshaft back in the rear end yoke, and i rotated the DS by hand while the left tire was still on the ground. Could that have caused any damage?

Thanks all, this is most unexpected after I just got done fixing the trans.

Would a stuck checkball be causing this? Is it possible?

Annnnd another bump before I try to take it to the shop:

I tried pushing it in neutral with the engine off....nothing. Won't roll at all.

So does that rule out electrical/ solenoid related things?
