Default 15" vs. 16" Wheel

If my goal was to eventually run 9's, should I make sure I get 15" wheels and run ET Drags or will a 16" wheel and a set of ET Drags be OK? Reason I ask - I have a big brake kit and the 15" Skinnies won't fit with them so I was thinking of going with 16" all around or 15" frear and 16" front.. Thoughts?

You will definately need a 15" wheel in the back for 9s, IMO. The only decent size tire that I know of in a 16" is a Hoosier 28x10x16 C07 slick. The extra sidewall of the 15" will help, as well as the variety of sizes. A larger wheel in front then in back just doesn't look right, IMO. I would go with 15" all around if you want skinnies all the time. A track-only option is a 17" skinny with an ET Front tire, which is what Top Fuel/Funny car guys run if I'm not mistaken.
