Question Which cam do you like for turbo boosting?

Okay so I am trying to see what a lot of people are running for cam's for their turbos. Which one do you like, what do you have, what is your power and how many #'s are you running?

Running ling gt7 with 1.8 yella terras for bit more lift. No dyno numbers till next spring.
Cam has not really any lope and is pretty easy to tune. Do have a bit of low rpm surging though which pretty sure can tune out.

I vote custom. And you don't need more details because then your choice would not be "custom" for your set up.

I have the EPP FI Cam on a Rear Mounted T67.. other than that just 317 heads and a baby intake.. makes 550 rwhp and rwtq with no meth. Cam sounds sick too

Mind you its a stock bottom end, and EPP states the cam is good for like 1000 IIRC

If you are looking for 600, and want it to drive like a stock car around town a ls6 cam cannot be beat.

I'm not asking so I can bite off someone else's set up I want to know to see what works for people with a turbo LSX. I am trying to find a cam that would fit my application yes but I am researching to see what kind of cam works for everyone (lobe separation duration etc etc) setup and rwhp.

No under 6l but to 600whp its a great cam. Even till 800whp it works pretty good, although at that point you would be leaving some power on the table by running it.

You are leaving power at any power level with that cam. Boost is a power multiplier. Can you make 1000 rwhp with an LS6, yes, it's been done? But you can make it easier (less boost) with a bigger badder cam. But it will cost you a little more and more streetability the bigger you go. It's all a compromise. I went 6.32 @ 109.5 in the 1/8 with the stock longblock (stock heads and cam) at 16-17 psi. My turbo kit is identical but I forged the bottom end, lowered compression, slapped on a set of AFR225's and a Stage 2 Livernois cam 232/232 595/595 114. I believe that I will go faster than that on about 12 psi this Wednesday night.

whatever cam makes it idle and fit the rpm range you are looking for if the motor were N/A
