here's a couple pics of my car. the first two are when the fronts were black, the second two are clear, how it is now. i personally like the clear much more. nicer, cleaner look. i would only do black if i were going for a full on all black look. for the back side markers, i have gone through stock red, clear, then black, and now im back to red, which i like best with my setup (red calipers, side markers, and tails- check the sig) but if i were you, i'd probably go with the black rears. i dont like the way the clear stands out so much...looks like a randomly placed rectangle on the car, just like when people put black side markers on certain colored cars.

as she sits now.

those "hid" bulbs are worse than the stock ones. a HID kit is at least 80 bucks

Either way would look good and clean. If I had a black car, I'd like everything black to murder it but then again black + clear lights + chrome wheels = ****

Those are not HID. They are just blue painted bulbs.

If you go with the clear, get the Depo ones. There MUCH nicer than the Euro BS. There made IDENTICAL to the stockers except clear. WELL worth the extra $$ and they look factory unlike the others.

Default clear lenses

If anyone is looking for front and rear clear lenses for 98-02 ls1's check out e-bay motors. Just type in ( 98-02 pontiac firebird clear front + rear side marker) You should then be able to order them both as a package without the B.S of tryin to find them separate, and i believe they are around 54 bucks for the pair.
