Default Thinking about a cam

Well im about to finish up my bolton list of mods. And been thinking of adding a cam over the winter. Im just a little scared, the last Ls1 i had i put a ASA cam in it and in less than 3 months spun a few rod bearings. Don't want to go down that road again. Anyway mods are in sig. what cams do you guy recommend or go custom?

I assume you are M6.... Somethng in the upper 220's/lower 230's makes for a nice street car. Mine is a 230/234 XFI/X-ER 111 and has nice bottom making for a good DD.... I hit G-vegas pretty often so I'll keep an peeled out for ya... The GF likes to party around 5th street.....OP's Lucky's, PB's etc......

Naw im A4. Size doesn't really matter to me i just want the most power without having to pull my 853's off, i just had one off to remove a header bolt. dont want to be replacing springs every 3 months or anything like that. But i only drive it to work about 5 miles away and maybe a road trip of 20 miles every now and then. Yeah man keep your eye out of me and i will for you. Were you live at ?

You didnt spin a few rod bearings bc of the asa cam. Something else had to be wrong....

Yeah i know that. But i have seen a few bearings go bad after cam install due to oil passages or something like that. But wondering what will work best with mods i have
