LS1/LT1 T56 tail housing

LS1/LT1 T56 tail housing UPS broke the tail housing on my freshly converted MN12. In my search for a new tail housing I have come across a LT1 T-56 tailhousing. Question is will the LT1/LS1 tailhousing interchange? It sure would open up my search range a lot if they do interchange. Thanks

UPS broke the tail housing on my freshly converted MN12. In my search for a new tail housing I have come across a LT1 T-56 tailhousing. Question is will the LT1/LS1 tailhousing interchange? It sure would open up my search range a lot if they do interchange. Thanks

Well, I do know that the LT1 and LS1 tails will swap over from tranny to tranny...not positive on teh '12 though. I DO know 2 people on here that know all teh specifis and such, try shooting a PM to:

[Gen414, the tailhousing was converted from the MN12 to LS1/LT1 already, so no issue there. A MN12 GTO tailhousing would convert, while a Z06 or CTSv tail would not... ;-) ]
