Photoshoot: Black 98 T/A DD First off, let me say I suck at taking pictures. Plus, it was way too sunny because a lot of pictures were just glare everywhere; the reason why theres limited pictures from certain sides of the car. Second, this car is my DD; stays parked outside on the street under a tree 24/7.
I applied Zaino about a month ago, but im not liking it. it gives off a nice shine and all, but bird crap sticks to it like tomorrow. Just put on a fresh coat of NXT 2.0.
I only live about 5 min away and was in the area. For those who dont know what 'landmark' I'm in front of, ill give you a hint:
1) 6 people were murdered in this house
2) There was a 1970's movie about this house and a remake was done a few years ago
(I would have gotten better pictures, but there was a VW in the spot right in front of the house, plus all the neighbors were honking their horns and yelling at me.)

and yeah, that is the ACTUAL Amityville "Horror House". The block is almost on lockdown now since everyone swings by there around halloween time. Neighbors will go to the extreme sometimes to keep lookers away.
The side emblems are just OEM badges in white. I went with the shaved look, but i could remove all the adhesive from the stock black ones and it looked like crap. Ordered a set in white, looks 10x better

nice to see another clean, outside-all-the-time DD bird.
what's funny is my plate was "LS1BIRD" up until about a month ago when i decided i didn't want to pay for it anymore lol. weird.

Nice ride. Black cars are a pain in the *** to shoot. You have to play with the lighting alot.
When I took these, I just kept the car running and moving it and moving the tripod.

I know what your saying. NYS DMV raised their fees on just about everything. It used to be $25 annual fee for vanity plates, now it $35 or so. 2 yr registration went from $50 to $120. I dont know how much longer im keeping my LS1 Bird plate either lol
