So ive been trying to decide what i wanted to do with my car (my motor got fucked when i tryed swaping my heads, dam rain) But i got a great deal on a new ls1 longblock so i got with my tuner/builder and we put together a combo. Ill be useing the new shortblock and be geting trickflow as cast heads with a custom cam he hasent speced it yet but it will be in the 226 to 228 range, then all the usual stuff ls7 lifters, ls2 timing chain, pushrods, yella tera rockers, and ls6 oil pump. Ill be useing my ls6 intake with p&p throttle body for now. This will be going in my 02 ws6 a4 full bolt on. Oh im also geting a vigilante 3600 stall.

So im just looking for opions im very excited im hoping to make over 400rwhp and run high 11s into i get more suspention done.

dont see 11's being a problem... should make 400 too.....need some skins to hit 11's tho

Yea i got a set of Mickey Thompsons drag radials for that!

you might also consider a 373 gear too.....that should knock off some time too.

I was thinking that but i would rather save money for a 12 bolt.

good thinkin ahead, more than i can say for myself...then once you get the 12 bolt obviously you can pick from a variety of gears to go in too

If you start bolting slicks to her your gonna need a new rearend anyway, especially with that engine. So you'd be money ahead if you start looking around for one now.

You might want to look into the Venegence racing VRX 3 cam. It's a 226/228 cam I have somewhat of a clone of it in my car in my sigs.
