Default TH350 to ecu speedo questions.

The car is a 240sx with a LS/TH350 swap.

I use an electric signal Autometer speedo with matching autometer manual to electric Halleffect VSS.

I was reading today to see how others got the speedo to work on TH350 swaps, but it looks as if you take the VSS out of circuit and use the WSS. I dont have ABS so no WSS for my application.

I was wondering if I could piggy back the hall effect signal to the PCM? And get a reading there? The hall effect is a 5-16V output 3 wire sensor (power, ground, signal)

Wasn't sure if anyone else has toyed with the idea or made this work.

Now the size of the car limits me. This is why I use a TH350. Its a built auto/manual trans. But I want to switch to a full built 4000 stall, manual valvebody, reverse shift, transbrake TH350 for 700RWHP. With some street use time to time. (shows, meets, etc). How hard will that be to street or cruise highway?

I looked at the prints which show 2 wires on the 00-02 PCM. Red 20-21 Dont say what the reading is one is VSS high the other is VSS low.

Does anyone know the range of this input?

what signal does the autometer speedo need to see?
its usually 8 or 16 revs. the oldsmobile tailshaft will accept a variety of new and older speedo sensors.
i run a lt1 instrument cluster and it requires 4000ppm or a 4 pulse sensor to get the correct reading.
im trying to redo my setup now to work with a powerglide.
all mine was electric, now im having to get gears and a conversion box to make it work.
this guy has some cool parts.
give him a shout, he may get you in the right direction.

Russler trans makes a TH350 long tail with the LS1 VSS adapted into it for under 150. I ended up blowing the TH350 and I am searching for a M6 now
