Default Dry Sump LQ9

I have an ARE 4 stage dry sump system to install on my LQ9. I am still in doubt about what engine block passageways have to be sealed off. I have info that mentions the front oil pump passageway is taken care of by the new oil pan blocking off the passageway at the panrail. But I have conflicting info on the rear "barbell" passageway, plug it off down in the block or leave it alone. I would appreciate any help from anyone who has experience in setting up dry sumps on LS1 type blocks.

Sure would like some input on this, does anyone know who I should ask? I spoke with Katech but they are kind of tigh lipped about their stuff. I don't blame them it is their business to build stuff not hand out info.
