We just received a call from his mother in law, she thought she was calling his employer. Shawn has been a long time customer of mine, which might have been why she had my phone number. Anyway, she told us that Shawn's car fell on him and killed him. I thought I would pass this along in case anyone knew him. Bob

That is so sad, but thanks for the link. Shawn was a really cool guy who loved his car. May God bless him and his family. Bob

After hearing someone cry for help you think that as a human you would follow the cry rather than just listen to it. I couldnt imagine losing the one I love.

Our prayers go out to his family.

Shoot my neighbor hopped my fence the other day when heard me cut my had on a razor in my garage. The neighbor should have done more looking around instead of just taking a step out the door.

Very sad to hear....... I allways kick (hard) my jack stands once I put weight on them to make sure they are not going to slip then I push on the car back and forth. I even keep the jack under the car with weight on it whenever possible..... a car falling scares me to death....

Serious reminder to ensure the jack stands are properly set up.

Wow, very sad news. Let this be a lesson guys, alot of us have been guilty of this at one time or another. It only takes a extra minute to use the stands!

the report says there were stands under it. he was pulling the driveshaft at the time
maybe it was on a jack and not actually setting on the stands
