House of Boost makes a cog drive kit for F1A equipped F-bodies, you might try calling them. Here's the link:

Procharger (LJo on corvetteforum, maybe on here too?) Anyway, he posted one a while back. It can be done but the flip drive will work. A guy has one on his C6 with a 10-rib belt and pushed spun the F1R to 110% max with no slip.

EPP also makes one for F-Bodies, maybe they can make one work in a C5.

We used the Cartec Flip Drive on this 2008 Z06, it worked so well we had to loosen up the blower belt. On one dyno run we let out of it and it snapped the belt, we hadn't ever seen that happen before! http://www.exoticperformanceplus.com...Car.php?car=51 Bob

We don't offer one for the Corvettes, but the Cartec Flip Drive is what you would want to start with, as the blower pulley is isolated from the accessories. Bob

My 10 rib and the Flip drive does not slip, but if I was to do it again, I would go with a cog and the Flip Drive.
