What A/R for rear mount TC78?
I have a .96 thinking about 1.15 before I even stick it on.. To many rear mount guys are saying ir gives out around 4800rpm.
Anyone actually have experience with this turbo rear mount.. Let me know?
Working on sourcing a 1.15 as we speak think I know my own answer.
This is a daily driven car, mods in sig

I'm sure with being a 6 speed you wont have a problem with the .96 A/R. I would go with the 1.15 for your 383, I doubt the couple hundred RPM's of lag would bother you. On my 370, I'm upgrading my rear-mount T67 for a TC78 and I'm going with a 1.15 on mine but I have a high stalled automatic and a long gear which gives me plenty of load for quick spool.

Well does anyone with a rearmount want to chime in. Reggie at Turbonetics said he would take my .96 and give me a 1.15 at no cost. Should I do it so I dont have to worry about backpressure, also wont give out above 4800rpm. How worse will the lag be in the 1.15, Will I even be able to spool it well with the 383?

I've got a rear mount TC78 on my 403... Spools very quick, but it's too small for my engine. I top out at 5k and power DROPS quickly. I have the 0.96 a/r. If you are set on using the TC78, get the bigger a/r.
