usually means there is an issue with the electric t/b or codes set in the ecm for pedal position or throttle body

It can mean a ton of different things. I've seen them going into REP mode for the following reasons:
-Too lean
-Too much spark knock
-TPS voltage being off
-MAF fault codes
-Too lean
-Too much spark knock
-TPS voltage being off
-MAF fault codes
