Default GXP times

Who here has run low to mid 13's in their GP GXP? I am looking at getting one and from what Ive seen people are having a hard time getting out of 14's.

The guy that started this thread has some almost unbelievable kills on his list and they say he should be mid to low 13's with his mods.

Hello

I doubt I'd do any better than high 13s, mid if I'm lucky.

Crazy things happen on the street.

i dont see anything on there out of the ordinary its all about if you know how to drive your car the gxp and the srt's might be a stretch but it depends how long you run them for and blah blah too many factors

I think RH, who is StealthV8 on here, is capable of low 13s, but his GXP is gutted.

How was that offensive? A couple of those should've beaten me, but my car is a beast from 40 mph, lol.

You'll love it, we're gonna want details, mileage, price, and the goodies.

Well the one test drove and am going to try and get is a Red 06 with 17k miles on it. They want 18,900 for it which is out of my price range and price way to high so they are going to have to give a little but Im pretty confident we can make the deal happen.

Im freakin pumped. Besides my 07 F150 my other cars make all kinds of noises and rattles. I couldnt hardly tell that the GXP was even running a idle compared to my TA...

Nevermind, 05 was least produced, lol.

2005 Model Year: 2,019 Total GXPs built:
232 Galaxy Silver 12U
171 Bermuda Blue (Bleen) 26U
144 White 40U
646 Black 41U
_67 Sport Red 63U
488 Dark Cherry 77U
271 Medium Spiral Gray 88U

2006 Model Year: 5,586 Total GXPs built
2007 Model Year: 2,501 Total GXPs built
2008 Model Year: 4,783 Total GXPs built (Representing 7.4% of all Grand Prixs built; source, Susan Friel of GM)
Total GXPs produced (2005-2008): 14,889

18.9 is too high, I payed 18.7 for my 08 with 10K miles. It's gonna start to rattle, it's inevitable with most cars, especially with a sunroof. You can definitely tell mine is running, lol. Even stock it wasn't THAT quiet.

Minus your sticker price, what do you have into your car? I'd love to do everything you've done to your GXP. I'm thinkin' you've gotta be single 'cause there's no way my wife is letting me mod the **** out of my car.

with a cai, 50 shot and a gutted car i got a 13.0something. that was 1 or 2 years ago, the 50 shot is gone, i took more weight out, added more parts and have been in talks with Will from Overkill performance for him to tune the car with the goal of being the first ls4 in the 12's N/A or if you guys (mp_eagle and sittingmongoose) get there first i will be the fastest hahaha.
Now i just got to man up and rip the A/C stuff and rest of the sterio out

Nice list, sounds like they can't drive over there in La. I owned a 2007 Impala SS and I can tell you there's no way that car could beat my G8 GT stock for stock, Tune for tune or what ever. But hey if you ever up in my area look me up and some of my G8 GT club members and we would be glad to show you true Power in the Pontiac food chain.

I know the order of the food chain, I'll be posting a vid in a few minutes.

TapShift really helps, I walked an Impala SS because of it.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KQsje_IrMeg

He had a Roto-Fab CAI, muffler delete, and VMS tune, at the time. I had just a CAI, catback, and a 200 lb passenger

Haven't got him to line up with me again, his recent mods are ported tb and intake and something else, I forget... My newest since then are a cutout and a bad tune, pulls a lot better, though. I'd still lose, but not quite as bad.

Same night.

DashHawks are notoriously off, though.

Recent GXP 0-60.

Also, ran a 13.0 @ 109 and 0-60 in 4.7, which I know ISN'T right.

Wow, he pulled you nasty.

I ran my brothers G8GT a few times when he was stock, it wasn't as bad as I thought as it was going to be. Now he's deep into the 12's so now it'd look like your run lol

The G8 has one of the most potent tunes I've seen.

I got a 13.98@98.5 all stock with a 2.06 60ft. I should be mid 13's now. I'm getting constant 5.2 0-60 according to my dash hawk. Can't wait to raise the shift points t 6200!

When I got 5.2 with the DashHawk it was actually ~5.6. I'll post up some vids of that too.
