Default HOw big of a tire can i go.

I am purchasing some 15x10 welds with the 7 1/2 inch backspacing and want to know how wide of a 28" tall tire i can put in my 2000 Z28. Its a stock ride height. I would prefer not to roll the fenders but if i have to then i have no choice. what do you guy run on them? can you post pics. thanks

I had a 325/50/15 (I think, I don't think it was a 60 series tire), DR. That would be the biggest, and tallest you can go without having to cut the bumper. If you go with a slick, it will grow and you'll need to cut.

Yep 325/50/15 is about as big as you can go. I run mickey dr's in that size for my street tires and then 28x12.50x15 et streets at the track. The radials are actually a little bigger than the bias-ply's. Pics:

I have a 2001 Formula with M/T DR's 275x60x15's on Weld 15x10's that fit with no problems.
