Default ebay brakes!!!!!

Needed some front rotors and pads for inspection, so great reason to get slotted. just grabbed these up off of ebay

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...ht_2127wt_1165

i was looking at these:
http://brakeperformance.com/site/bra...00509&ad=yahoo

but i dont think ill have the car long enough to care about lifetime warrenty rotors. i bought cheapies for my GTP and they lasted fine. Especially since i got fronts and rears with pads for what it would cost for just the fronts.

We'll see. Cant beat $192 for 4 rotors and ceramic pads.

I like the performance look and feel of the rotors, but after a while, those rotors have a little clink/tick noise when braking at low speeds (5-10 mph)

Well I have the R1Concepts rotors and EBC RedStuff pads, but the clicking comes from the slots. I've had the rotors for over 2 years, and this noise developed about 8 months ago.

I'll have to see how it goes... the ones i had on my GTP and the ones on my mustang were slotted and drilled and made no noise...

I'll keep my fingers crossed

I've been running those brakes for about 3 months now and no problems. Not even a little tink!

Great deal, if you ask me!

2 week update. Absolutely no dust, no sounds or anything. You felt a little scraping in the pedal for the first day or 2 under hard braking which was I'm sure due to new pads and rotors, but as for any issues, there are none.

Killer deal on these brakes.

LS4 SS,

Any updates on these?? Hows the noise, feel, dust?? Any complaints on them so far? How many miles have you put on them?

Sorry for all the Q's, I'm just planning on getting these next month and want to make sure they're worth it.

Thanks

I know your question wasn't directed at me, but I can report that after 7 months and about 20,000 miles, the "eBay" drilled and slotted rotors have been flawless. I've had no issue with warping, and they don't dust at all.

Definitely $216 well spent!

I knew that there was someone else who had them but I just looked for this thread cause it was the only one I could remember. Thanks for the updated info LS1!! My stockers have lasted me over 70k miles and now its time to change and upgrade to something that looks a little better IMO.

I've look at those Brake Performance ones before too, but I can't find a single review of them. That makes me hesitant.
