Parking brake is broken at the base

Parking brake is broken at the base i have a m6 93 camaro and the parking brake broke at the two screws that hold in on.. so what do i do
1. get it welded back on
2. take it to a place they they know what they are doing?
all help is needed tired of using 1st gear to park the car.. oh yea and a around about price that it would cost
