SoCal CTS-V needed for Royal Purple's "The Forum Wars"
Royal Purple NEEDS YOU!
Royal Purple's “The Forum Wars” is giving real members of real online car communities the opportunity to go head to head with rival counterparts in the ultimate racing challenge. Each video battle will be broadcast on SPEED and all over the web.
The producers are accepting applications from CTS-V owners RIGHT NOW!
This is YOUR chance to represent your badge, your community and your peers.
Forum vs Forum. CTS-V vs BMW M5. Owner vs. Owner.
Official drag race. Slalom. Solo road race course. Three events. One winner.
If you have the car, experience on the track, and the eggs to bring it in front of a huge TV/Web audience then Royal Purple WANTS YOU!
If you….
- Own a CTS-V (street legal, DOT approved tires, current registration and insurance)
- Have track experience
- Live in L.A or surrounding counties – or willing to drive
- Are available 11/13/09 for the whole day @ Irwindale Speedway
- Come fully trash talk equipped and ready to be on camera
The producers want to hear from you.
Email theforumwars@gmail.com briefly stating why it should be you representing your community and the mighty CTS-V. Please also include details of your location, driving experience and a picture of your car.
This is a “run what you brung” competition. No tire changes. No trackside tuning. Stock or modded, all applications are welcome.
Your chance to be the pride of the online Cadillac community.

I'd love to do it, but I don't have that much track experience. But I know there are a few guys out here that should be all over this. This should be advertised on the other forum also.

Supergeess, I really encourage you to apply. This isn't about being an expert driver. You need to feel confident enough to run a 1/8 Mile drag, slalom and a short road course. We already have a stock M5 locked in for the show. The driver rates himself as intermediate. Just throwing that out there.
Feel free to spread the word.
Thanks

I'll do it. I have this in the bag. I love representing my V and do it well. I hate doing the strip stuff b/c of the reardiff, but I'm up for it. ... Wish my paint was a little better.

yeah,
guess I didnt see the V2 only thing. I'm glad that a more modded V came up to the challenge. Mine handles well, but cant put power down like a maggied one can. Did you email him to apply? or is it just for V2's?
