Ls6 intake does good on bolt on cars and cars with small cams in them..

An Ms3 is a "top end screamer" and likes a lot of high air flow up above 5900, right where an ls6 falls on its face and right where a FAST intake shines..

I would highly recommend a used 90/90.. You can pick up a setup used for around 750$.. Well worth it. You will be looking at around a 25rwhp gain over the ls6 intake, for 450 more dollars, hard not to take that and you can also port it later for an additional 10-15 HP.

you think swapin will hurt my performance since the ls6 lags on top end? or should i just wait for a fast, i have the ls6 intake laying around so its not costing me anything but i dont wanna take away power if its not a good match up i figured it be better than the ls1 for now but not sure

The ls6 is HANDS DOWN better than the ls1.. No doubt about that.

If it were me, I would save up 400$ or so, sell the ls6 for 300... Keep your eyes peeled for good deals, if you find one then jump on it.

But, if you have to have a power increase now, swap it on til you save the cash then sell it and buy a 90/90.

Up to you man.

do you think my car would have 10.90s in it, with my current h/c package wit the fast 92/92 set up and 42lb injectors, i have 4:10s with a fully built 4l60e with a 4000 stall converter i was really tring to hit 10.99 on N/A idk if that will be possible i prob down the road will spray it with 100-125 shot but what do you think?

I would have to know more about your setup..

Race weight, suspension, 60', times you run now, DA you usually run in.. The car will definitely have it in it (power wise).. But the weight DA and 60' will play a big role in that.

yea thats what i figured it i havent ran it hard since i got it all setup, i ran it the other night rolling out of the lights with my old converter (2500 stall) half throttle and the trans slipped 2-3 (completely fell on its face at the 1/8-1000' mark then pick up at the traps, ran a 12.45 @ 113mph with only a 1.9 60' i didnt launch at all. i just got the trans fixed by my shop and went to a 4000 stall so i will post times when i run it again, and will stall it to what i can. the car hooks great... but still 12.45 @113 isint to bad for a broken tran and a tiny converter not even launching so i will see with my new setup hoping to be in mid 11s and with fine tuning my suspension and doing my fuel system maybe scrap 10.90s its all stock full system now.

You have mid 11s easily, or should.. Low 11s should be expected.. 10s are no easy and should not be expected.

Only one way to find out!

Like lemons said,
Sell that LS6 intake for $300 and you are almost half way already.
That would be a nice setup.
