I think that bell might be for a LT1 truck motor. Hard to tell by the picture but they did not make a ls1 in 97. 99 was the last year in a truck for a lt1 bell depending on if your vehicle was equipped with one. You might want to contact the seller and see if it has a bolt hole at the 12 o'clock position. This is the part # from GM. 24206953 Vince

yes ur right, i meant for an 07 silverado, bellhousing that looks the same,
