Building a 6.0 stroker 408 need help
here it goes i have never built a stroker or a ls motor but i am now i have a new 6.0 block
Fast 92mm intake
Fast 92mm TB
Fast fuel rails
fast 42lb injectors
5.3 stage 2.5 heads
off of my original motor
what i need is help with picking out the best parts and way to go with this
i do plan on spraying the **** out of this motor and all help will be appreciated
i can change out the heads if these aint the best way to go but i want it to be a monster with slight street abilaty

I think the selection of parts is all dependent on what you intend on doing with the car. There are any number of good cranks, cams, heads and valve train that you can build a reliable engine with. My 408 lasted for several years without hurting it. If you intend on spraying it TUNE is EVERYTHING !!!!

well trick flow period. but your bore size in the minimum required for the 235. with a putting a 225 on it you will floe just a little more air than you can with a 235. the number you see flow wise. with a 225 is done with a 4.0 bore. so with just a little larger bore you can actually flow more through the head than shown. the flow number you will see on a 235 is a 4.125 bore. so running the smaller cc will help you in the end.

no problem sir! good luck with your build i hope i have helped. i know with everything i have done. i have had one guy i go to for stuff i dont know myself. and it just nice when you can just get a straight and truthful responce from someone.
