Went to the track today, man it was nice out. The DA was high but it didnt seem to bother the car on the spray.
Made 3 bottle passes and the first one out of the box on the 150 pills was a 10.38@132. Second pass was on a 200 shot. This was the best pass of the 3, the next went a 10.34@135.67 hazing the tires with only a 1.64 60ft. We had the psi @ 950 that pass, the best pass was at 850.
Car has stock clutch, axles and drive shaft still.

Awsome acomplishment! I am impressed that the stock clutch is holding up with those kind of 60' times. As smooth as you leave the line the drivetrain should hold up, IMO.

You can get one at LG motorsports, its a G6x3 cam. Made 69 more rwhp then the stocker, made more power starting at 2000 rpm's and never lost any anywhere.

Is this the fastest 2010 camaro as of so far in the 1/4? Also do you run a stand alone fuel system for the nitrous kit with race gas in it? Is it a plate kit on the car? Awesome times by the way the mph is really good.
OrangeChevyII
11-04-2009, 07:11 AM
No stand alone system, and yes it still is the fastest 2010.

Thats awesome must be nice to say you have the fastest 2010 camaro. I was just wondering about the stand alone cause I know some nitrous guys step up to it so they can run the good fuel with there nitrous kit instead of pump gas. At least with the bigger shots like 200 and up thats the reason for me asking.

Stock fuel system?
The fuel rail is flipped around to the passenger side to remove the extra 4 foot of line and the 90 degree bends. The stock fuel system can support alot of power. Im not saying its the correct way to do it but it sure worked well for us.

I talk to Jack at racetronix a while back about the fuel system in these cars. Correct me if I am wrong but from my understanding teh stock fuel system should spport about 650 rear wheel horse power. I was told the computer controlls the fuel system. I was told as the computer sees the need for fuel it increses the voltage to the fuel pump.

Congrats man. Nice driving. I'd like to see ya chip away at that N/A time. 10.99 cam only would be very impressive as well . I'm assuming you have the spare tire out and running under half tank of fuel for weight.
You seem to be one of the few that are taking a approach to the 2010 most of us have with the 4th Gen as far as drag racing goes. Good Job.

Spare tire is an option, they come with an air pump and some fix a flat.

Thats correct Dave. The car has a Fuel Pump Control Module that adjusts fuel pump voltage based off TPS/RPM/MAP.. Did you know that at idle theres only approx 6-7 volts going to the fuel pump!?
We have made 740rwhp with the stock fuel system with only a Kenne Bell Boost-a-pump and 65lb injectors using 10lbs of Procharged boost and one of your Nitrous kits on a completely stock internal engine.

Still working on getting the car to launch the correct way. Drives like a stock clutch but can handle the power we throw at it. Ended up putting a RPS Street twin lite Carbon.

Whats his 60ft?
he was cuttin 1.5x 60's with the stock tranny but it would not shift and he would have to lift to get it to shift.. best times was 10.9x.. @ 124/125
think he put a 4l80 in it and was cuttin 1.7x and netted a best 10.36
