Default Planning on joining the ranks of supercat and others

How much should I have to turbo my car and make the other preparations to keep it running?

I know the kit is $5650 shipped, how much will I have to put into the tranny and what all do I need to do?

Oh good god get the tranny done. My tranny is stock only running 6 psi and a lot of torque management it feels like the 1 2 shift takes 2 seconds. My tuner says that is border line on what the tranny will take. Do you plan on getting the Cartuning kit or putting something together your self?

Cartuning and I'm getting the tranny done. I just wanna know what all I need to beef up.

I would be very interested in seeing this list of things. Something tells me i am going to blow my tranny pretty soon.

You will need an upgraded input shaft (get from Intense) and also a better chain (7/8" or go with the GM Racing Chain). Dave at triple edge did my tranny. He's in Fort Wayne, IN.

This is what I replaced in mine. If I had to do it again I would keep the stock 30 tooth reluctor wheel and get a torque converter from Dave a TEP. Other than that I wouldn't change anything on the list.

PATC 2800 Stall Torque Converter (stock is 2000 to 2200)- 399.00 (Ordered 2/24/2009)
ZZPerformance Input Shaft - 359.95 (Ordered 2/24/2009)
TEP Clutch Master/Volvo Rebuild Kit - 179.95 (Ordered 2/25/09)
TEP Recond. Input Clutch Piston - 19.95 (Ordered 2/25/09)
TEP Input to Sun Gear Bearing - 6.95 (Ordered 2/25/09)
TEP 4t65e Lube Dam - 3.95 (Ordered 2/25/09)
TEP OE Stator Support / Drive Sprocket Bearing - 7.95 (Ordered 2/25/09)
TEP Transgo 4t65e Shift Kit(set on medium firmness) - 59.95 (Ordered 2/25/09)
Intense 3.29 - 15/16th’s Gear Ratio Conversion Kit(stock is 2.93’s) - 450.00 (Ordered 2/24/2009)
Intense 34 tooth vss reluctor wheel (stock is 30 teeth)

Total Cost for parts without shipping is - 1,488.00

only 1500? wow, when i do mine i am doing a differential and shorter gears as well
