Default Rear suspension hitting real hard!!!

OK last year I put my car back to stock before attempting to sell it, but with no luck I still have it.

Last year I installed new front and rear shocks, new tires and my old 20K mile stock PH Rod and LCA's.

It was as good as a new F-Body up until the past few months, when I go over a decent size bump the rear hits really hard and there is alot of squeaking. I double checked all of the bolts and body panels and everything is tight including the spare and jack.

The only thing I can think of is the springs since they have been on the car for 84K miles.

TIA!

I guess it's possible the springs are shot.

But I would suspect shocks before springs ... especially stock springs. There are a ton of F-Bodys out there with mega-miles on them without a stock spring issue like you describe.

I was thinking of throwing in a set of Front and rear Bilsteins and a new pair of rear springs since they are only 25$ form SLP.

The springs have been run through the ringer at the dragstrip plus I use my car to haul alot of heavy stuff.

Thanks for the offer roy. I'll get under the car this weekend and check out some more stuff. The only other things I can think of are the exhaust hitting or the tank strap bolts could be loose.

OK It's definitley the shocks. The rest of the suspension checks out OK and the right rear shock is squeaking real loud now. I'll just throw another set of SLP take offs on there and a new pair of spring isolators whil I'm under there.

Thanks for the help!!
