Gears & Axles - 4.30 gear???

I've got a 02 camaro, ls1, 224/224 .563/.563 114 cam bolt on only car. has a 150wet kit on it. 28in radial, moser 12bolt w/3>91... havent had it on the track and prob wont put it on the track for a long time seeing as how there isnt a good 1/4mi track within 3hrs of where i live.. my question is.. you guys think i'll run out of gear in 4th with a set of 4:30's? i know i'll be fine on motor but what about on the gas? any input that anyone has would be great!

try it and see 28s and 430s are fine on the motor in the quater

Depends where your rev limiter is set. With 4.30's you'll be at:

125mph = 6450rpm
130mph = 6700rpm
135mph = 6950rpm

fastest time to date is a 11.1 at 126 w/1.76 60ft... im not big on racing at the track.. i normaly run on the street..
