Cam spec lsa+2 question??
I have searched high and low for the answer to this, but no luck.. This is probably a newb question, but what exactly does 111+2 mean in a cam specifcation, other than lobe seperation? What does the +2 signify? Does it have to do with the way it is ground? Do you have to do anything differently when installing, or just line up the dots as usual? Appreciate any info.. Thanks.

I believe that the +2 means simply that when installed dot to dot, the cam has two degrees of advance ground into it. Thus the timing is advanced slightly immediately from the install.

So that is supposed to save you the trouble of having to make program modifications to timing? I think I understand.. Thank you for the explination... I laid in bed staring at the ceiling thinking I installed it incorrectly.. I should have asked before, but it didnt hit me until I was all done and I saw the 111+2 on the box.. Thanks again!
