Austin area, Is Stubbs good for live music?

Austin area, Is Stubbs good for live music? Was hoping to see Deadmau5 in Austin Saturday instead on a Sunday in Houston. Just kind of weird of where its being held at a "BBQ/Bar/Icehouse" or something like that, Stubbs. No never been there, just wondering what the atmosphere is like.

Stubb's is AWESOME!!!!! It's one of the coolest live music venues anywhere. But I've only been to Americana/country shows there. I've never heard of "electro house" music, but they have all types of music there.

Stubbs is great, seen, Seether, Red, 311, Chevelle, Beasties, Snowpatrol, and Ghostland there. All great shows, plus they have bbq in the consesions. Don't forget about Austin music hall and LaZona Rosa. Seen some good shows at both including Incubus, Breaking Benjamin, once agian 311, Evans Blue, and some others.

Cool, should be good then. Just not sure because type of musci. I know its not everyones cup of tea, but one of my faves. Just one of the more chill tunes of his.
