Default what factory truck coils would be ideal?

Im thinking as of late that one of the coils on my TA are starting to go bad. what i want to know is what year, and type of truck coil would be ideal to put on the car?

i know the coils from my 5.3L wont fit under the fuel rail/line input at all. are there any that do clear? I had a look at a 09 Suburban today and they look like they would clear, but i dont know if they would work properly with the motor?

thanks in advance

get the ones with the heat sinks, they seem to be the bee's knees.

I used the D585 coils, mounting bracket and harness. The driver side is not a great fit, however they 'just' fit. The passenger side fits nicely and you will need longer plug wires. The D585 truck coils are the smaller of the truck coils and have a heat sink installed on the backside.

I bought them from a member here. He may still have a few sets to sell... PM Petraszewsky

fyi, this is not a pic of my install..
