Default Anodized Red WS6 Wheels?

I was wondering if anyone out there has ever seen ws6 wheels powder coated anodized red, like the 30th anniversary wheels and if you haven't tell me if you think it would be a good idea or if you can do a photoshop so I can picture it. thanks

Either way, anodizing a set of wheels is MF expensive. Not worth it.

Power coating and anodizing are two different types of finishes. Anodizing is a surface treatment as were the powder coating is an actual coating. Not sure what the price of each would be but I'm sure it would be expensive.

I dont know how much it is through someone local. But I was thinking about getting my old set of Fikses reanodized and Fikse wanted $200 per wheel.

They could look killer anodized bright red with a polished lip.Or it could also look like Ronald McDonald's car.

Anodizing doesn't have to be expensive people.
http://krylon.com/products/xmetals/
From what i've heard, it works! As long as you do it correctly, and thoroughly. I think the main part people forget is the adhesion promoter and the reflective surface spray for non-shiny objects.

Or Duplicolor metal cast
http://www.duplicolor.com/products/metalcast.html

Krylon's costs about $30 for 11oz, while Duplicolor's costs only about $7. But i think Krylons look struely annodized while duplicolor's isn't as high quality of a finish.

EDIT: Checked Wal Mart, they carry the Krlyon for only $5 a can! Amazon is on crack, same size and color and everything!

I've also thought about doing this for a set of extra wheels. I think it'd look pretty cool.

I did some experimentation a couple of years ago on my friends car and on mine with adonized red.. its a really tricky color in the way that it all depends on how the light reflects on the wheel.... he liked it but like they say TO EACH THEIR OWN..

I dont think that car looks to bad, the only thing I would change is getting some of the graphics off the car because it to much red, the wheels dont look bad though.
