Default Any good tuners near Pearland?

My car has a little bit of black smoke plus I am thinking of upgrading to LT's. I only have about $700 so I am trying to see how much a tune is. Also should I get an aftermarket Y-pipe too or will that throw off the tune later? Don't want to have to get my car re-tuned every couple months.

Also how bad is a little black smoke for these cars? It's nothing crazy but enough to notice. I think my car was de-modded before I bought it.

yeah nothing but good things coming out of g-force... if you get a lt's what do you plan on running for a y-pipe??? i just put lt's and ORY and my car runs just fine un-tuned... you should be good if you buy the hooker lt's from the link below there only 360 shipped!!! thats how much i got mine for and they ship here in three days... and an ORY is 150 so IMO it's too good of a deal to pass up... i wouldn't worry about a tune just yet... but that is my opinion unless you just want your service engine light off...

Black smoke is not too bad just means there is alot of carbon build up/or your running rich... try running some sea foam through it and drive it pretty hard for a while to try and blow alot of it out.

at any rate. just drop in there and go shoot the **** with them, they should answer any questions you have, or check your car out real quick. you can check out their shop and there are usually some pretty bad *** projects in and out of there.

What car are you trying to get tuned, your TransAm? If so, G Force won't be able to help you, you will need to find a regular mechanic shop for that. They could possibly lead you into a decent direction in the area though.
