Default Another great night of racing at PBIR. New PB.

I made 3 passes. **** was hooking good! Lost the first time slip but it wasn't the best one. BonnarLS1 got all the passes on video. I also got data on 2 out of the 3.

I'm going to call it 11 psi. Was jumping around between high 9# to low 11# on the log. I think that the controller will work better as I get farther away from the wastegate spring pressure.

2nd Pass (Best Pass so far)

60' 1.375

330' 4.062

1/8 6.283

MPH 110.67

1000' 8.191

1/4 9.805

MPH 139.76

3rd Pass

60' 1.424

330' 4.154

1/8 6.386

MPH 110.53

1000' 8.288

1/4 9.892

MPH 140.71

Best night of racing that I have had in a long time.

nice, That is moving, I like the 1.375 60ft and you gained 30mph in the back half. That is a well rounded car. Congrats.

On the best pass I was seeing 73% inj duty cycle. As I turn up the boost the pressure goes up so it will stretch out the injs a bit. I'm estimating 650-700 rwhp right now.

I was hitting the crazy duty cycle because I was running a single intake 255. Once I put in the MagnaFuel 4301, that duty cycle came down into 60's. I am curious to see how the duty cycle is effected by additional boost as I turn it up. More boost = more fuel pressure on a boost referenced fuel system. Right now, thanks to the stock 98 PCM, I'm limited to about 15 psi on the MAP sensor. The current setup should get me there. Beyond that, I will be switching over to the MegaSquirt2. At that time, I will add meth to get the rest of the way to my 8.8-8.9 goal.

I dont have many of the answers on MegaSquirt as I am no expert. My reasons are that it's cheap and it does everything that I will need. Don't know yet about the harness but I have access to a 98 (mine) and a 99 harness so I can cut one up and repin it for the MS no problem. I'm pretty sure you can run over 30 psi of boost with it.

Ligenfelter LNC-002 set at 3800 RPM and 0 adv/ret. Launch boost is about 6 psi.
