thanks guys!!

no vids as I went by myself...you guys know how it sux when you get a new best and NO VID.

Pass was
4 psi launch
14psi boost

1.450 (shook the radials hard)
3.960
6.014 @ 119.54
7.790
9.292 @ 150.16

I went too low on the tire pressure I think but am learning. I was just trying to back up my 9.39 which was my goal with this car. Now I am going to try to get the 60' better and get a 9.3x on 12psi.

275/60/15 hoosier drag radials
3960# raceweight

Put on some slicks, crank the lunch psi and overall boost and show us what a 4000lb vert can do!

LOL, Jerry's car is super clean and very well detailed - but it is big. I'm sure he can step it up some but 4000lbs + trying too hard can sometimes mean breaking something. I have a feeling it will be in the 8s soon enough.

KP you are right on the first part and wrong on the 2nd. It would break parts and I am not going to be running 8s....unless its gonna run it on 14psi of boost and that aint happening.
The drag radials are much easier to handle up top vs the slicks so my 60s are only gonna be what these support on my car.....no more slicks I dont believe. The 9.29 was not planned...I picked up .10 and 3 mph by adding 1.3 deg of timing....crazy. Now I want to go down to 12psi and see if i can run 9.3x. Fun/slow and reliable has been a whole lot of fun and I dont want to push water to say i went .3 faster...not worth it for a test and tuner like myself

My car drives the same with slicks and DRs at the track, tubes and stiff sidewall slicks are pretty stable. I have swapped them back and forth a couple times at the track and if you didnt tell me which was which I couldnt tell by driving it. I run 12.5-14psi in the slicks, lot of guys run 10-11 to try to get to hook. 9psi is OK with 14x32s but not 10.5x28s..

I like the DRs but they just arent consistent, lot of wasted runs and its really hard on the trans when they hook then go up in smoke instantly which they seem to do 30% of the time. I dont have the reserve power to make up for it if I blow them off the first 50 feet either, with slicks even if they spin some I will run a tenth off, not half a second.
