Default ls6 Intake Installtion help

I have 2 questions:

1.How do you remove the injectors from the intake?

2. What do yall do about the egr tube that is suppose to go into the intake, since the ls6 intake doesnt have one

thanks in advanced

SLP sells an LS6 intake with EGR Provisions... Other than that, just Delete the EGR, You will have to remove the Code from the Computer.

I live in lubbock... At a local oil change place here in town. I would get rid of that egr bs if i were you, if nothing else do it to save weight... Its not much, but every bit helps. I guarantee you, it will not stop you from passing inspection.

chances are you will mess up that nice lil ls6 intake you got if you try and cut it where it's suppose to be... and just get a EGR block off plate and the gasket... if you dont wanna order one then get some metal and gasket **** and make your own... GL

No, I had a 2001 Silverado with the Wieand LS6 intake, and it didn't have the EGR in it.
the EGR was deleted from the tune, and did not throw a code, there for it past inspection..
My last car the EGR was still on the motor but wasn't hooked up.. and never threw a code with it turned off.. if done right it shouldn't throw a red flag..

i deleted my egr like 3 years ago, take it to anybody with hptuners or ls1 edit and they can delete the code, youll pass inspection no problem. and one way the ls6 intake makes its extra power is by not having the egr, so if you drill it and install the egr then your basically wasting a huge amount of time effort and money and ruining a perfectly good intake.
