Thats what I was thinking but I havent got my headers on yet and im not sure how soon I will get to it but I was just going to get a 3" insert and install it in a 3" pipe in place of the muffler and put my cutout in front of it.

just swap out the resonator on your SLP sytem for a borla xr-1, thus converting your loudmouth into a "borlamouth"

with that hunk of junk insert, all your doing is choking your exhaust flow

+1

I have 3'' spiral-flow inserts and lost a noticable amount of power. After about a month the driverside insert worked loose in the exhaust pipe and rattles. I'm going to have the exhaust completely redone soon. 3'' true duals with no muffler or inserts stopped at the rear axle.

I personally wouldn't do that. Restriction sucks.

I was just pondering the idea of being different and im not sure how it would sound but as far as choking the exhaust I wouldnt be soo worried about that since I have a cutout. As far as having a muffler and a cutout there isnt a whole lot of room in that area.
