Default GM 12 bolt posi breaking point

I bought a 12 bolt rebuilt and it came with an Eaton Posi, 31 spline Superior axles 1350 yoke and a bearing cap support cover. Making about 700wtq off the trans brake in a th400... How long should the posi hold up on slicks before I need to go with a full spool and 33 spline axles?

lol I wasnt hoping for a bet on me breaking... Havent weighed it but it should be about 3350lbs. 3700 stall launching with a 2step about 3000rpm on a 200-250 shot. I want to keep what I have in the rear for as long as possible just dont know how long the posi's hold up with superior after market axles in the 12 bolt. Any one have a posi go out rather quick? Is it efficient enough for my power and purpose?

ok well i know where mine broke. i was on 27" M&H slicks and launching the car at 6k...m6 car on the bottle 3600lbs. i bent the cross pin and destoyed the spider gears. you have way more tq than i had but you are a little lighter. on a slick you will break it...if not the first time to the track then the next.

thats why i went to a fab 9 with a wavetrac

Yea I could see that center section getting destroyed, But what kind of car is it in? Tq Arm cars are very abusive on rear ends. But a 12 bolt under an older A or G body can take it.
