do i have the new style rear main seal? there is not 2 lips on my rear main seal, its only 1 sticking out to the outside towards the tranny. is this the updated version?

few observations. old seal had a nasty turn on it when i ran my fingers on it. i think my old mechanic didnt know how to install it. cause since day one of my replacement 3 years ago it leake ont he first day lol. so with this new seal it actually seats a little further back then the older model seal. anyone notice this aswell?
