Default Moser 12bolt vs Strange 12bolt

Like the title says which one should I go with? The Strange seems to be the cheaper of the 2. I will be doing a full spool with 3.73s if that makes a difference.

Both are great-except most people and shops do not properly install the moser. I have the Moser and havnt had any problems for the past 4-5 yrs I have owned it. If strange is cheaper and your going with a spool. Get the strange.

The strange uses the long pair of bolts to attach the torque arm. The moser uses four smaller bolts to do it which always seems to loosen up. I have seen countless posts where this is a major headache for the Moser guys.

Based on this, I would go strange.

Yea I really like the price on the Strange. $2100 + shipping from Spohn.

I like strange because they build it for you.

IIRC don't you have to set up your own gears and such with mosers?

What else will I need besides the rear itself? Will the stock driveshaft work with it?

Stock driveshaft works with 9" or 12 bolt, does not with a Dana 60.

Like I said-moser rears are plenty strong-2 bolts or 4-dont matter. Its a bad install that makes the bolts come loose. and there is no aftermarket Tq arms drilled for a moser. Get the strange since its cheaper. And it takes less fabrication to install.

Umm, I think your wrong there. The Moser works with the stock torque arm, so any torque arm will fit, its just the bolt issue and them working loose with aftermarket torque arms.

Okay? I didnt say anything about a stock TQ arm. But thanks for any clarification. I know it works with a stock one too. Just saying the breakage Is from metal fatiuge due to not being secured properly. I did have a problem with bolts working loose. So when I was inpecting the install I noticed why. So I fabbed up bushings to cure the problem.

You said that no aftermarket torque arm was drilled for a Moser, but they are.
