I got my butt handed to me by one. Don't know if it was stock or not, and I was untuned...but still....

I think E36 was earlier than '98, wasn't it?

If you race him in a straight line, you win. If you race him in the twisties, you lose.

He was pretty loud, might have been modded. But he pulled on me harder than Mach 1 mustangs, LS1s, etc.

They're rated at 240hp and 236tq stock, so with some decent mods I think they can hang with us. I've got a buddy that has one thats got exhaust, intake and a tune and he said his best at the 1/4 was a 14.1 in a vert m3.

Maybe I'm thinking ofthe newer body M3. This one was the last body style, just before the new V8 ones. I think. I don't know, I should probably shut up now.
