Nice car, if your buddies are like mine they think no wipers=racecar.

If it has tags and insurance it's a street car.

+1. If I see a milk crate for the drivers seat, gutted, and manual everything if its tagged and insured..... thats a street car.

Very nice how much does that section under the cowl weigh? Also FWIW I just removed the 2 tear drop shaped plates on the top of the dash. You can see them in the pic you posted. I also used a heat gun and removed the black rubber/tar matting as well. I did not weigh it but it was probably 3-5lbs.

it was prolly 7-10 lbs. there is a lot of double walled sheetmetal in the area. plus if you take into consideration the plastic cowl cover wiper motor and wiper arms....

the two tear drop plates on the dash. what do they do?

Nothing that I could tell they pop right out with a flat screwdriver. Nice and easy the black stuff takes a little time to get off but as I stated a heat gun helps tremendously.
