Default keep aluminum DS or put steel one back in?

I'm getting ready to do a 3200 converter, and heads and cam. I bracket race the car so I need it to be reliable. So should I sell the aluminum and get money out of it while it's not broken and put the steel one back in? Or will the aluminum one hold up. It's a stock aluminum one.

What kind of "steel one" are we talking about?

If you plan on racing the car, I'd put a stronger steel one in there. It can be pretty nasty when those things break...

The stock steel and alum driveshafts both break, and break frequently. Here is the one I use and recommend. http://www.exoticperformanceplus.com....html?item=541 Bob

both are stock driveshafts. Bob, I wish I had the money to get a better one. I'm barley going to make this heads/cam/stall swap being a college student.

If those were my only two choices I would choose the steel one. I have heard and seen more alum ones breaking. Autos are easier on drivetrain parts anyway. But yes as bob stated it won't be pretty if one breaks.
