Default Keating TKR claims fastest production car in the world title at 260.1 mph

aperantly i uses an ls7 motor producing 1800hp. all i want to know is how to they manage to keep the heads down ? if i was aiming for those power goal i would go with a warhak or an lsx block.

Why? They are making 1700-1900 with production ls2 blocks with work done to them and you end up WAY lighter than a lsx block.

I don't see how Joe Blow rich guy can own a 2,000 HP car (according to the specs on thier website) and not have motor life issues? Sounds impossible to drive too!

Yep, and you can't take an out of the box lsx and make that kinda power either.

come on. do you honestly think a filled and o ringed ls2 will be more reliable at the 1700hp level as a warhawk block ? not to mention that the ls7 has quite thin cylinder walls for Fi. unless they re sleeved it and made the bore smaller. and then it would not be a 427 anymore.

Fiction. Looks like Desktop Dyno numbers and lots of dreams.

The guy that builds EVERY SINGLE Mosler engine that goes in a Mosler production car, builds my motors and most of the local LSx's. If this were real and confirmed, regardless of who built it, he would know about it and he would have told me.

The only real number that is not an estimate is 260 MPH in any of those links.

I'd take a done up ls2 over lsx any day of the week. Warhawk is way more $$$$

^^^ i never mentioned the lsx motor in there, i was asking if you think an ls2 block will be more reliable over a warhawk at 1700hp ?

i do agree with you that the lsx block is a little heavy, and i think the warhawk is a good substitute. and who cares if it is allot more money then the ls2. people that will be buying those kind of cars are not exactly short on cash. and building an ls2 to that level is not going to be cheap aether.

though unlikely real, it doesn't use a ls7 block
